In my option the perfect outfit is something simple jazzed up with some incredible accessories, and when I say accessories, I mean a big chunky necklace. This super chic trend from last year isn’t out like last seasons harem pants, the statement necklace is more of a timeless trend, because nothing completes a look like a bold necklace.

Well, I have survived my move (which would not have been such a breeze without my lovely parents – you guys are the BEST!). I am feeling more and more settled everyday, but still have lots of organizing, cleaning and puttering to do. I walked the property this lovely sunny morning and this is what I saw.

Well, the day is finally here. It’s moving day! I am super excited and a little overwhelmed with all the stuff I have (this will be a LONG day). Thank god I am blessed with an amazingly supportive family who will help, because I sure need it. I hope you all have a fabulous weekend.

So, a few weeks ago I posted about some changes I had planned on making – a possible move and maybe even a career change too. It turns out that a change in definitely in the works, just not as dramatic as I had thought.
In a few weeks I will be moving to a fabulous place on Sauvie Island. I am thrilled as I am totally a country girl at heart. The best part is that I can be downtown in twenty minutes, so I can still have the best of both worlds.
The excitement about decorating a new space has been keeping me up at night. Since most of my belongings have been in storage for the past two years, it will be interesting to see what I actually have (apparently I have a horrible memory). This week I am obsessing over the perfect nightstand. I am leaning towards a mirrored table of sorts, but I might just have to wait until I am moved in to decide.
I would love to hear if you have any suggestions or inspiration.

Hello. I cannot believe that it has been so long since my last post. It’s more than a little embarrassing, as I do have every intention to post on a regular basis. To be quite honest my day-to-day life has left me with little free time and inspiration the past few months, which has got me thinking about making some serious life changes.
I came to the decision a few weeks ago that a move and possible career change is in order. I feel excited, scared, happy and nervous about the idea of starting fresh. I am trying to not rush into anything (which is what I would normally do), but to think through every option. Being patient enough to let things unfold organically is hard for me, I am a total planner who wants immediate results, but this is a good exercise in letting go a bit. I trust that the right thing is around the corner, and that every day offers me the chance to be open to greater possibilities.
